Church of St Euphemia

Church of St Euphemia

It was a small church of St. George and when St. Euphemia's sarcophagus was brought to this church, the people in the 10th century started building new bigger one. The main marble altar designed by a Venetian master Girolam Laureat. St. Euphemia is the patron-saint of the town. On the walls by the sarcophagus there are paintings dating from the 1883. The church is 30m wide and 51 m long. There is a beautiful view of Rovinj from the bell-tower.
Roman Amphitheater

Roman Amphitheater

The Arena was built in the 1st of century, at the same time as the Colosseum in Rome, situated outside the old city wall because of the size. It is 130m and the shorter part around 100m, made from the local limestone. Gladiator Arena could seat around 20.000 spectators. In the Middle Ages it was the site of knights tournaments and fairs. Today it is a venue for the festivals, concerts, summer performances.
Lim-Channel

Lim-Channel

It was formed by the river eroding, since 1967 it has been protected. Explore the Pirates Cave named by Captain Morgan who travelled by his ship through the channel. Boat rides are available. 150 m rocks offer climbing for the free climbing lovers.
Pazin Cave

Pazin Cave

Explore the unique hydrogeological phenomenon, the Pazin Abyss. Jules Verne writing his novel Mathias Sandorf, when placing his characters in an underground passage connecting Pazin Cave and Llim Channel. It has been protected.
Brijuni Island

The magnificent archipelago with its beautiful plant and wild life. Just a short boat ride from Pula. There is a lot to see, safari park, gold and tennis are available. This is the only national park in this region.

It is near Pula, enjoy the wonderful nature. The peninsula of Cape Kamenjak valuable landscape made of green fields and rocky terrain and lovely beaches. There are lot of bike trail around the peninsula. The small islet named Fenoliga where the dinosaurs'footsprings have been discovered.

Lone Beach: pebble, ideal with small kinds, but you can find rocky beach as well, two snack bars, you can rent small boats, pedal-boats, wind-surf
St. Andrew Island

St. Caterina Island
St. Caterina Island: beach located on the eastern side of the island, easy to reach it by taxi-boat, mostly stony with some easy accesible, bar, diving center, windsurf rental, use volleyball court, on the north-west side of the island is rocky for those who love to jump into the sea

Oliva Beach
Oliva Beach: located on St. Nikola Island, opposite Porec, it is covered pine trees and forest, partly pebbly, partly constructed, has sanitary facilities

Girandella Beach: pebbly beach with some rocky and paved parts, blue flag, many restaurants, bars, shops, diving center, you can rent deck chairs, pedal boats, water sport facilities
Maslinica
Maslinica: 500 m long pebbly beach, blue flag, a part of the beach is arranged for people with disabilities, restaurants, bars, sport facilities
